Ingredients You’ll Need:

  1. Dried red chilli peppers (the more, the merrier!)
  2. Sichuan peppercorns
  3. Fresh garlic, minced for aromatic goodness.
  4. Ginger cloves, sliced for an extra zing.
  5. Additional spice like black cardamom, dried ginger, etc.
  6. Quality cooking oil (sesame oil or vegetable oil – your choice!)

Recipe- Let the Chili Alchemy Begin:

Step 1: Choose Your Spices

Select your desired heat level first. Go ahead and add additional dried chilli peppers for a powerful kick. Use a moderate amount for a gentler choice. You can adjust the spice level to suit your own tastes perfectly.

Step Two: Hot Infusion

Add the Sichuan peppercorns and dried red chilli peppers to a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooking oil and let the spices start to crackle and absorb the flavour. Stir from time to time to make sure the flavours are distributed evenly. Admire the fragrant fusion.

Step 3: Light Up Some Aroma

Stir in the chopped ginger and minced garlic. Allow the ginger to add its spicy overtones and the garlic to release their scents into the oil. The sizzling will increase the beautiful aroma and you’ll be surrounded by an amazing smell.

Step 4: Watch and Wait

Give the ingredients ten to fifteen minutes to come together. This enables the ingredients to combine and produce a spicy oil that is rich and flavorful. When the hue turns golden, you will know the chilli oil is done.

Step 5: Separate and Strain

To separate the oil from the solid spices, strain it through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer. After discarding the filtered sediments, savour your fragrant chilli oil!
